Visibl Flex has been introduced as the new pay-as-you-go plan for businesses with smaller, less predictable verification volumes, get full AML/CTF compliance, priced for how you actually work.
"We're only a small agency or practice."
We hear this a lot.
It's usually said as a reason AML compliance shouldn't apply, or shouldn't cost what it does for a firm ten times the size.
The truth is more complicated. Australia's AML/CTF reforms don't distinguish between a business with five offices and one with two people in it. They apply because of the services a business provides, not its size.
A sole practitioner conveyancer, a boutique buyers' agency, a two-person accounting practice all carry the same obligations as a firm ten times their size. A risk assessment. A documented AML/CTF policy. Staff training. Ongoing monitoring. An audit trail that holds up if AUSTRAC comes asking.
What differs isn't the obligation. It's the volume.
A firm settling 200 matters a year and a firm settling 10 are both required to run the same program. They are not running it at the same scale and most compliance software is priced as if they were.
That mismatch is what we built Visibl Flex to solve.
Meet Visibl Flex
Visibl Flex is a new pay-as-you-go plan, purpose-built for businesses that verify a smaller, less predictable number of customers each year.
It carries the same compliance program as every Visibl plan: a tailored ML/TF risk assessment, a custom AML/CTF policy, role-based staff training, a complete audit trail, and the reporting and monitoring workflows you need to stay audit-ready. Nothing about the compliance itself is scaled down.
What changes is the pricing model. Instead of a subscription sized around volume you may never use, Flex charges one annual platform fee from $150 a month billed annually, or $167 a month billed monthly, plus a fee only for the verifications you actually run. Your compliance costs move with the natural ebbs and flows of your business, not against them.

Compliance tamed, not compromised
We've said before that the biggest AML risk isn't complexity, it's treating compliance like a box-ticking exercise. Flex doesn't change that view. It's still a full, specialist-informed, audit-ready compliance program.
What Flex changes is who that program is accessible to, and at what cost. If you're a principal, a director, or a small team member who's had to become your business's compliance officer on top of everything else you already do, this plan was built for you.
Is Flex right for your business?
If your business verifies less than 20 customers a year, or you're running a small team without a dedicated compliance function, Flex is worth a look.
